HISTORY

Govt. higher secondary school (Dadra) is a non – profit educational institution under the aegis of Govt. established in year 1965. Govt. higher secondary school (Dadra) English / Gujarati medium is located in Dadra which is a rural area of UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli & Daman & Diu.

Govt. higher secondary school, Dadra is providing secondary, higher secondary level of education std (9th to 12th) and being managed by department of education. The medium of instruction is English & Gujarati language and school is co-educational. Our school is affiliated with state board of Gujarat for the secondary and higher secondary level. The school imparts quality education for the students of 9th to 12th. The school pays special attention to identify and nurture talents amongst its students and provides guidance in right direction.

We lay great emphasis on co-curricular, extracurricular and various activities like sports, cultural activities etc. The performance of the students in various activities at the state, zonal and national level has made us proud. Various activities in the school aim to ensure that the students achieve their highest academic and personal potential and develop a firm foundation based upon understanding of Indian cultural society and ideas to use that as a base to become conscious global citizens.
